Stream the artists you back.

Vinylaunch Streaming lives inside the same platform as the campaign. Fans listen while they back. Artists keep direct fan relationships. Plays and revenue flow through the same transparent ledger as every other revenue stream.

Why streaming sits alongside the campaign

On most platforms, streaming and crowdfunding live in separate worlds — artists raise on one site, then point fans at a streaming service that pays fractions of a cent per play and keeps audience data behind a wall.

Vinylaunch puts streaming inside the same platform as the campaign. Fans listen while they back. Artists keep direct fan relationships. Plays and revenue flow through the same ledger as every other revenue stream — same transparency, same artist control, same structural commitments.

Discovery you control — not an algorithm

The player opens on a deck of artists with live music. You shape your own feed with two simple, separate gestures — and a third when you’re ready to put real support behind an artist.

Heart a song

The purple track Heart saves a song to your Favorites and nudges its artist into your Rotation. It’s your “save”, and it shapes what you hear next.

Heart an artist

The gold artist Heart keeps an artist in your Rotation — a pure feed preference. No list, no money — just “show me more of this.”

Launch an artist

Tap the rocket to Launch an artist and put patronage behind them — real support routed straight to the artist. The rocket means money; the Hearts never do.

What makes it different

The structural commitments behind every play.

Track-level rights attestation

Every upload documents sole authorship, co-authorship, cover, or public domain status. Cover song mechanical licensing is attested at upload. Samples and interpolations go through pre-clearance.

Fan-only and supporter access controls

Artists choose per-track access — public, all-fans, or direct-supporters only. The streaming player enforces those gates at playback, and early-access windows open up over time.

Artist-friendly ad serving

Short ad spots (under 15 seconds), capped frequency for free-tier fans. Paying subscribers stream music ad-free. Creator channels and VLogCasts carry their own light, creator-curated ads for everyone — that ad revenue is how creators and artists get paid.

Artist-friendly ad revenue split

50% of advertising revenue when your music plays goes to artists — vs. industry norms of 30–45%. Distributed via aggregated Stripe Transfer once your balance crosses the $25 minimum payout threshold.

PRO and MLC royalties on top

Vinylaunch reports plays to your performing rights organization (ASCAP / BMI / SESAC / GMR) and to the Mechanical Licensing Collective. Performance and mechanical royalties flow to you in addition to the ad-revenue split — never instead of it.

No data brokering

Listening data is for artist-facing analytics only. We do not sell listening data, share it with advertisers, or build behavioral profiles.
